Lightstick Studio

Legal

Terms of Service

Effective 20 October 2026

Lightstick Studio is a free, unofficial app provided as is. Use it with lightsticks you own, follow the rules of the venue, and don’t use it to interfere with anyone else’s devices.

1. About the app

Lightstick Studio (“the app”) lets you control a compatible Bluetooth lightstick that you own from your Android phone. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Not an official product

The app is an independent fan project. It is not made, endorsed, sponsored or supported by any artist, entertainment agency, lightstick manufacturer or official app publisher. Product and group names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

3. Acceptable use

4. Your lightstick

The app sends the same kinds of commands as the lightstick’s official app: colours, brightness and built-in effects. It does not change your lightstick’s firmware. Features may stop working if the manufacturer changes the firmware.

5. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that it will work with every lightstick, firmware version or phone, or that it will be free of errors.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app or of a lightstick with it, including damage to devices or missed moments at events. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and availability

We may update the app, change these terms or stop offering the app at any time. Changes to these terms take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
